The Sound Of Music Philadelphia Theatre reviews
The Hill's Were Alive !!
To love a movie so much, it is a little scarey to commit to go see it as a theatrical production knowing that it will somehow be changed from what you are used to. But, "The Sound of Music", as was performed at the "Fabulous Fox" on Sunday afternoon, August 29, 2010 was absolutely brilliant. It could not have been any better!
Mandy Bruno, Maria, was wonderful. Her voice was beautiful and she was so animated on stage. The entire cast gave top quality, professional performances. It appeared to come so easily for each of them, even the youngest child. I highly recommend this production to anyone who enjoys this type of entertainment, and if you don't , you ought to try it. This could possibly change your mind.
fun for all ages doesn't matter how well you sing
We had a good time but the costume parade ran long so the movie started late. Be aware for little guys it's a late night. The movie was over til almost 11pm and the shuttles don't leave til the movie's over and then you gotta wait for everyone else since they stack park. We didn't leave til 11:30. The first half of the movie is the best. I think they should just show the songs but maybe that wouldn't be long enough. Maybe they should start earlier. Be aware there's lots of booze and people get a little rowdy and annoying. Still good time though.
